I bet you already know a bunch of this, but some of it is specific to this channel and it’s possible that you’ve never learned something I mention below so this is just here to help you going forward.

The most important part of the video is the first 5 seconds. Having subtitles somewhere is usually a good idea. Show a lot of things (change something every second or so). If you think the script isn’t cutting it, say so. Look at the title and thumbnail: are the first 5 seconds addressing these? What does this all make the viewer feel? If the answer is nothing, then something went wrong. If the viewer is annoyed because the title and thumbnail weren’t addressed either, then that’s bad too.
If something changes, add a sound. I have a small library for you here. If you feel like the sound isn’t important, try adjusting the volume before removal, it’s really important to have regular sfx for viewer immersion. Make sure that it’s not too in your face.
Make sure there’s a cut every 3-5 seconds (or some sort of movement). Don’t do it in the same way over and over though; it’s important to be creative. Different changes include:
